Innoventions: Where’s the Fire?

***UPDATE***
Where’s the Fire? closed on April 29, 2015. Stay tuned to find out what will replace it!

Many guests tend to wander through Innoventions on their way to other Future World Pavilions. But there are some great interactive games and exhibits to be found there. At Innoventions West you’ll find Where’s the Fire?, a fun introduction (or refresher) to fire safety and the job of firefighters.

You begin the experience with a game that tests your knowledge of fire hazards in the home. Cast members outfit you and your team with special flashlights that you’ll use to search for fire hazards in “America’s most dangerous house.” Earn points by identifying the hazards in the different rooms. But be careful – you can lose points for choosing non-hazards.

As you exit the house, little ones can practice their “stop, drop, cover your face, and roll” technique and experiment with escape routes in a small-scale, soft surfaced mock house. You can also visit a 30 ft. fire truck and discover what equipment firefighters use. Search for badges from fire stations from all over the country. Touch screens will help you locate your hometown’s badge or badges. And the Burning Questions stations nearby will test your fire safety knowledge.

Where’s the Fire? is presented by Liberty Mutual and is a great way to start the conversation on fire safety.
